Kale Chips

Kale chips can also be made in a dehydrator by following the same recipe and then placing in the dehydrator. I get a better crisp from the dehydrator, but the sesame seeds does stick as well as they do when chips are cooked in the oven.


  • 1 bunch kale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • sea salt


  1. Preheat oven to 250.
  2. Tear kale leaves off stalks and center rib. Make chip size leaves.
  3. Place olive oil in a bowl and add the kale.
  4. Massage the olive oil into the kale, coating both sides of the leaves.
  5. Sprinkle with sea salt and sesame seeds and mix well.
  6. Place kale on cookie sheet or two (you don't want leaves overlapping).
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
