Quinoa Burgers

Ingredients

  • 2 portabello mushrooms
  • 2 zucchini's green
  • 2 cups cooked quinoa
  • 2 shallots minced
  • 1 large garlic clove minced
  • 3 tablespoons A-1 sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups whole wheat bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. In food processor, shred mushrooms, zucchini, garlic clove and shallots.
  2. Saute this mixture in olive oil until soft.
  3. Add quinoa, bread crumbs, A-1 sauce and 1 egg.
  4. Make into patties and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  5. Cook in a frying pan for about 2 minutes each side.
  6. Serve on a whole wheat bun with sprouts and condiments.
